This past week my sweet friend Jessica and I came together to create a birthday present for a lovely little girl turning one. We decided after much debate to craft a set of felt play food and were absolutely thrilled with how they turned out. She blogged about this fun activity as well here.
We packaged each meal separately in little plastic bags that were tied with ribbon. That way it was easy to see what was for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. So much fun!
Below are some links that we perused while trying to come up with our plan. Let me know if you make any of them! I am incredibly excited to make a set for Baby Love as he is very interested in all things in the kitchen. What a great way to involve him in the cooking process!

The Apron Jessica made... |
My creations. Lunch was a sandwich with tomato, cheese and lettuce. For dinner there is a chicken leg, mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. The sugar cookies were for dessert of course! |

Reegan LOVES her play food...and Mamma LOVES it too!! You guys are so thoughtful! And what a great gift! Seriously...you should make your own little business out of them! Baby boutiques would eat that up! ;)
I love it! They're gorgeous! I have some nieces who would love it!
Oh. My. Goodness. I love the food, Abbey!!! What a great idea!
Thanks! So glad Reegan loves her gift : ) We had a blast making them and can't wait to see her play with them. They were surprisingly easy to make and I think will make a repeat appearance for other future gifts.
